Spurs comeback to beat City 3-1, Liverpool & Chelsea draw
Tottenham's Champions League hopes received a huge shot in the arm after they staged a stunning comeback which left Manchester City on the brink of relinquishing their Premier League crown.
Samir Nasri opened the scoring with a mere four minutes gone at White Hart Lane, tapping home James Milner's cross to give the visitors the lead.
Clint Dempsey netted the equaliser in the 75th minute and substitute Jermain Defoe quickly made it 2-1.
Gareth Bale sealed the victory on his return from injury after 82 minutes as Spurs closed the gap on London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea, and presented Manchester United with the chance to win the title if they can beat Aston Villa tonight.
"It's massive," Bale said. "The club is moving forward every year and all us players want to be playing in the Champions League week in, week out, playing against the best teams."
"We will be pushing until the end of the season to get in the top."
A win for United over Villa will clinch the title for Alex Ferguson's team with four matches to spare. It's a far cry from the tense finish to the championship last season, when City scored two injury-time goals in its final match to pip United to the title.

Liverpool 2-2 Chelsea
Luis Suarez scored a dramatic late equaliser and controversially bit an opponent as Liverpool twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Chelsea in a thrilling Premier League match at Anfield on Sunday.
The Uruguay striker headed home deep into injury time after Eden Hazard had initially appeared to have secured the points for Rafael Benitez's side on the Chelsea manager's return to his former club.
Earlier, Oscar's opening goal had been equalised by Daniel Sturridge. However, the match was overshadowed by an off-the-ball incident when Suarez appeared to bite Branislav Ivanovic.
Suarez, who was banned during his Ajax days for biting, could face another lengthy spell on the sidelines when the footage of the incident is reviewed by the Football Association.
It was the main talking point at the end of a match that brimmed with plotlines, drama and some high calibre action.
