Summer Transfer Rumours
Man Utd, Arsenal & Chelsea on alert for Robert Lewandowski
Top clubs across Europe including Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have been put on alert after the future of Robert Lewandowski was thrown into doubt yesterday.
The Poland international had been expected to join Bayern Munich this summer after it emerged last month that he had agreed a deal with the Champions League winners.
But Borussia Dortmund's chief executive says that striker Robert Lewandowski will not be sold to Bayern Munich in the summer.
"Robert Lewandowski will definitely not transfer to Bayern Munich in 2013," Watzke told German reporters. "This is final. We have informed Robert and his advisors. The Bayern case is closed because there was no written offer."

Arsenal: Wenger ready to spend £70M this summer
Arsene Wenger is ready to smash Arsenal's transfer record this week with bids for three of Europe's fastest-rising stars.
The news that the club are thinking big, with moves for Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain, Borussia Dortmund's Ilkay Gundogan and Bayer Leverkusen's Lars Bender, will come as a massive relief to Arsenal fans after years of frugality and summers of losing their own stars.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis promised "an escalation in our financial firepower" last week and Wenger is convinced he can transform his team into title contenders.

Manchester City: Pellegrini targets £30M Angel Di Maria
Manuel Pellegrini takes charge of Manchester City this week and will ask Etihad chiefs to sanction a move for £30million Real Madrid star Angel Di Maria.
The Citizens have already splashed the cash early on in the transfer period, having already acquired Jesus Navas from Sevilla and Fernandinho from Shahktar Donetsk for around £50m combined.
Their latest big bid comes as no surprise - as Manchester City look to claim the Premier League title and challenge for the Champions League next season, and they hope that Di Maria will help them towards this along with the other new signings.
