Man City 0-1 Chelsea: Blues end City's home run
Chelsea kept themselves firmly in the Premier League title race as Branislav Ivanovic's first-half thunderbolt secured a 1-0 victory over Manchester City.
The Serb smashed home past Joe Hart and into the corner of the net to give Jose Mourinho's side a priceless win at the Etihad Stadium and move them level on points with second-placed City in the table.
City had won all 11 previous Premier League matches at the Etihad this year and had scored in 61 consecutive matches at their ground. Mourinho’s Blues were the first team to blank Manchester City at home since Birmingham City did so in 2010.

Chelsea is just two points behind table-toppers Arsenal and have the best defensive record in the topflight, but Mourinho doesn’t think his side will win the Premiership this term.
The Portuguese hailed his side’s performance but does not believe they are better than City and believes his team have more chance of winning the league next season.
Mourinho said of Chelsea’s title hopes in his post-match press conference:
"We are there, but not favorites. For the team it’s very important, the feeling is fantastic feeling for them. Today we won because we were the best team, not better than them but today they were fabulous.
"It is not our objective to win (the title this season), our objective is to build the team and complete the formation of the players.
"I want to start next preseason and say this season we are going to compete and be one of the favorites."
The three points move Chelsea level on 53 with City, two points behind leaders Arsenal.
