Going into Week 31, Chelsea tops the England Premier League table with 67 points followed by Manchester City with 61 points and Arsenal in third place with 60 points. Manchester United is in fourth place with 59 points, ahead of Liverpool with 54 points.
Chelsea FC will have to continue their quality, focus, and high energy to stay in first place in the Premiership with titan clubs, Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd, and Liverpool close at their heels going into the final games of the 2014 – 2015 season.
The Blue’s boss, Jose Mourinho is reportedly scouting Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes, whilst Red Devil’s manager Louis van Gaal is looking at some big names to bring onboard, including 30 year old Cristiano Ronaldo, United qualify for the Champions League next campaign. Reportedly, Man Utd is prepared to offer Real Madrid £80m and CR7 a salary of £14m per year. Other prospects for Old Trafford are Mats Hummels, Paul Pogba, Gareth Bale, and Dani Alves.
Meanwhile, Man United superstar striker, Wayne Rooney needs only four more goals to surpass Bobby Charlton’s England scoring of 49 career goals.
Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel was banned for three matches after seeing red following his tackle on Manchester United goalie David de Gea. Skrtel remarked that he feels no guilt over the tackle. Brendan Rodgers is scouting Roma’s Miralem Pjanic.
FA Cup holders, Arsenal, are in position to win another FA Cup championship trophy in 2015, after six straight wins.
Arsenal are deciding the fate of Gunners’ striker Theo Walcott. It has been reported that veteran Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger is scouting Borussia Dortmund midfielder Maro Reus.
Title chasers Man City have their eye on Lazio’s Felipe Anderson.
Coming up in April look for some thrilling clashes of the big clubs as Arsenal hosts Liverpool at Emirates on April 4th and Man City travel to Old Trafford to battle Man United aiming to win the Premier League title and earn a spot in next season’s Champions League tournament.
