2016-2017 Champions League Tickets

Champions League tickets for Arsenal, Spurs, Man City, Leicester

The UEFA Champions League draw took place in Monaco, and England Premier League titan clubs Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Leicester City discovered their group stage opponents. The eight groups for the 2016-2017 Champions League are listed below.
Italian manager Claudio Ranieri's Leicester City side are preparing for their Champions League debut as they become only the 11th Premier League club to join Europe’s elite who have battled to become Kings of Europe in the Foxes maiden campaign for glory and silverware after their sensational England Premier League title fight and victory in the 2015-2016 campaign.
After becoming the 11th Premier League team to qualify for the Champions League, Leicester hope to join Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea who have all won the European tournament trophy in the past, even though England teams have a poor record in their Champions League debut season facing the continent’s finest. Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri considers Leicester to be the underdogs to win in their Group although they are top seeds.
“Our supporters deserve the chance to watch their team around Europe against teams like Porto, Club Brugge and Copenhagen,” said Ranieri. “Once again I say we are underdogs. For this reason we must fight for everything.”

Manchester City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain believes City will fare well in ‘an amazing group’ despite the tough opposition as City will battle titans Barcelona, Borussia Monchengladbach and Celtic in Group C. “It’s not a nightmare draw at all because we are in a wonderful competition and we are really happy to be here, but in Barcelona, Borussia Monchengladbach and Celtic we know it won’t be easy,” said Begiristain. “We reached the semi-final last season and we want to go far in the Champions League again. It is a very difficult competition to win – for everybody - and you need luck along the way, but we are ready and always trying to improve.”
“Both games against Borussia Monchengladbach were tough last year, even though we won them both. They are a very strong side and it’s going to be hard again,” added Begiristain. “It’s good for Pep because he knows Borussia very well from his time at Bayern and Barcelona as well so we will see.”
“He had been back to Barca before with Bayern Munich so it’s not the first time he’s been returned to the Camp Nou,” continued Begiristain. “Barcelona will start as favorites for the group but that is nothing new – they are a fantastic side. Celtic will be hard as well. I love watching Celtic play Rangers and games like that and they are friends of ours so as I say, it’s an amazing group.”
