Euro 2016 draw and tickets

Roy Hodgson’s England side were drawn in EURO 2016 Group B against Wales, Russia, and Slovakia for the Euro 2016 finals in France.

Both England and Wales managers related their positive feelings overall about the draw when they learned of the matchup.

"I feel good about it. There was always a very good chance we would meet one of the home nations. Wales are very organized, they have a strong spirit and a good spine," remarked England boss Roy Hodgson after the draw.

Wales manager Chris Coleman also looks forward to the upcoming Euro 2016 Wales v England match. "Well, we've got them; it will be a great game. We would have wanted to avoid it, but we look forward to it. We deserve to be here and I think the tournament will be a fantastic one," said Coleman.

Coleman previously said he wanted to avoid an opening group match against England because it would be "viewed as a battle of Britain" and a "distraction".
