Leicester City Update – EPL #1

A double by midfielder Robert Ruth and a third from forward Riyad Mahrez put Leicester 3-0 up against City at Etihad before Sergio Aguero got a late consolation goal giving Leicester an away 1-3 victory against league title rivals Manchester City. With only 13 more matches to go in their current campaign, if Leicester City continues their confident playmaking and stay healthy, they look like the most likely club to win the 2015-16 EPL trophy.

Since their winning streak depends upon their strong starting lineup, Leicester does not have the squad depth to do well in the fierce title race ahead if Jamie Vardy, Robert Huth, or Mid-fielders Riyad Mahrez, Daniel Amartey, or N'Golo Kanté sustains injuries. Claudio Ranieri’s opponents have a more demanding schedule than the Foxes coming up - with at least 16 and potentially up to 28 more games remaining in all competitions for Tottenham, Arsenal, City, and Man Utd if they advance in the Champions League or Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur Update – EPL #2

Tottenham Hotspur dominated over Watford during the entire match to earn a crucial 1-0 victory and 3 big points with a goal from Kieran Trippier as they continue their late title charge. Spurs are currently second in the Premier League table after 25 matches, five points shy of leaders Leicester City. Tottenham’s top goal-scorer Harry Kane believes the Spurs improvement this season is because the club is rid of its "bad eggs."

Manager Mauricio Pochettino ruthlessly remodeled his squad into a leaner, fitter, and younger group as several footballers left Tottenham last season. Harry Kane says Tottenham have improved since cutting loose some 'bad eggs' from the club. "If you have one or two bad eggs, it can bring down others, and we don't have that. Everyone is fighting for each other and we are in a lot of competitions, so people know they will play games to try to impress the manager. We've got to try to keep that belief high,” said Kane. "It has been another year with the manager, building his philosophy. We had a good preseason and we have a good bunch of lads. We have several Tottenham Hotspur tickets available so you can support them in their battle for the silverware.

Arsenal Update – EPL #3

Last weekend Arsenal won for the first time in five EPL matches with a 2-0 victory away against Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium, due to first-half goals from Gunners star footballers Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ahead of Arsenal’s "very big" showdown with Premier League leaders Leicester City on Sunday. That win put Arsenal above Manchester City into third place in the league. The Gunners still trail Leicester by five points but can reduce it to two points with a victory over City on Valentine’s Day.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said it was vitally important that Arsenal returned to winning ways by defeating AFC Bournemouth in a “must-win” clash after a poor run of form. Wenger said Arsenal’s confidence came back as they scrapped for a deserved victory on their road to compete in the Champions League next season and take home the EPL trophy as well.

Arsenal are one of only two teams to have beaten the Foxes in the 2015-16 season having won 5-2 at the King Power Stadium in September. Wenger is confident that Arsenal can make a strong defense and defeat league favorites Leicester at home. "We have a week to prepare for that and I have to think about it. Leicester is a strong side but we are also a strong side. At home with our fans and support, we can do it," said Wenger. "It is another must-win game."

"We play at home, we will have our fans behind us and of course we are playing now against one of the favorites for the Premier League,” continued the Frenchman. Show Arsene Wenger is right and support the Gunners with your Arsenal tickets!

Manchester City Update – EPL #4

Manuel Pellegrini’s Manchester City lost 3 points as Leicester continued their journey towards the league title with a major 3-1 win. City’s only goal came from Diego Costa. Chilean Pellegrini will leave Man City at the end of the season to be replaced by veteran manager Pep Guardiola.

Pellegrini intends to drastically improve his record against the Premier League's top clubs in order to depart with a second Premier League title – his first was won in his debut 2013-14 season when City scored an amazing 102 goals. Manchester City will face Tottenham at the Etihad next weekend with the stunning home defeat by rank outsiders Leicester fresh in their minds.

Top Goal Scorer: Sergio Aguero

Manchester United Update – EPL #5

The Red Devils were in control on their way to victory and within a few minutes of deservedly coming away with a 1-0 triumph at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea and a top four spot on the table after a stunner from Jesse Lingard, when Diego Costa scored an injury time equalizer to rob United of all 3 points.

Louis van Gaal’s side, Manchester United, are looking to increase their composure and maintain their dignity in the games ahead. United should be able to take heart from Sunday's draw with Chelsea. The Reds will no doubt use highpoints of the match for inspiration for their February challenges in the Premier League, Europa League and Emirates FA Cup. United as a whole played well and produced some really good football, looking dangerous and defending well for most of the game.

Manager: Louis van Gaal
Captain: Wayne Rooney
Goalkeeper: David de Gea
