It is the 10th time that Spanish La Liga and Champions League champs Real Madrid have topped the soccer rich list. Real reported revenues of €549.5m in 2013-14, a revenue growth of €30.6m from the previous season.

All twenty of the teams in the ultra-popular English Premiership are on Deloitte’s global list of the 40 richest clubs.

However there were disgraceful and shocking upsets for some England Premier League teams and supporters in the recent FA Cup clashes en route to the FA Cup Final 2015. In the beautiful game, sometimes there are amazing results from small, lower division clubs that for a day, have more ambition than wealthy and prestigious teams filled with highly paid footballers.

Out of the tournament are first place Chelsea, second place Manchester City, third place Southampton, sixth place Spurs, and ninth place Swansea, as well as Newcastle, Everton, Burnley, Hull, and QPR.

Ahead of the upcoming FA Cup replays, the only England Premier League sides going through to the SemiFinals to date are Crystal Palace, West Brom, and Leicester – all of whom are sitting in the bottom tier of the Premiership.

Manchester United, Liverpool, and Sunderland have upcoming replays. Still to play are Arsenal, Stoke, Aston Villa, and West Ham.

Wayne Rooney’s Manchester United will host Cambridge United at Old Trafford on February 4 for their FA Cup replay.

And on the same day, Liverpool will travel to battle Bolton Wanderes at Macron Stadium to remain in the FA Cup tournament.

Eight-time FA Cup winners Tottenham Hotspur are out of the FA cup after being defeated by Leicester City 1-2 in the final minutes.

But an even more amazing upset was FC Chelsea being walloped by minnows Bradford City who stunned fans from both teams by earning four goals against the Blues in the second half – the first time that any club has been able to score four goals against Chelsea at a home game in 57 years. Chelsea’s manager Jose Mourniho called the Blues performance an embarrassing disgrace for him and his men.

After the stunning match, Bradford manager Phil Parkinson said his jubilant men were bouncing in the dressing room celebrating a victory against the Premiership leaders that will no doubt become a legend for the small club. When Parkinson took over as Bradford boss in 2011, he inherited a squad that was regarded as the worst squad ever.
