Premiership: Chelsea 6-0 Arsenal - Man City 5-0 Fulham

PREMIER LEAGUE

Chelsea trashed 6-0 city rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday to remain top of the Premier league table.

It was Arsene Wenger’s 1,000th match in front of the Gunners and it could not have been worst for the Frenchman as he saw his team going down 3-0 in just 16 minutes after goals by Samuel Eto’o, Andre Schurrle and Eden Hazard (penalty) made a perfect start for Mourinho’s men.

Oscar then scored on either side of the halftime before substitute Mohamed Salah added his own to round off a game Wenger will try to forget soon.

Elsewhere Manchester City cruised to a 5-0 win against last-place Fulham to keep up the pace on the title race.

Yaya Toure scored a hat-trick (two from the penalty spot) before Fernandinho and Martin Demichelis completed the rout.

Meanwhile, Liverpool beat Cardiff City 6-3 after coming from behind twice in a thrilling match played in South Wales.

Luis Suarez netted a hat-trick, Martin Skrtel scored twice and Daniel Sturridge added another goal for the Reds whilst Mutch (twice) and Campbell found the net for Cardiff.

Barcelona won the Spanish Clasico 4-3 against arch-rivals Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Messi was the hero once again as he netted a treble to become the top scorer in the Clasicos history with 21 goals, three ahead of Real legend Alfredo Di Stefano.

Iniesta was also on the score sheet for Barcelona whilst Benzema scored twice and Cristiano Ronaldo added the third from the penalty spot for Los Blancos.

Atletico Madrid is now top of La Liga table following their 2-0 victory over Betis level on 70 points with Real Madrid. Barcelona trail both capital city teams by one point with 9 games remaining.
